my grand kids and my niece says that they are not allowed in my chair, but some for reason, Delilha, our turkish van can lay there all the time and i allow it.
my reply is --"well, she needs her sleep".
besides, i just move her over and we share the chair, it is not big enough for grandkids or nieces anyway.
they don't seem to like that answer but the cat loves it.

You are definitely a crazy cat person....

When you turn the TV to Animal Planet and hit the button on the recliner, spreading out your cats' favorite blanket over it, so that "the girl's" can watch funny videos and kitty rescues all day while you are away at work!

You, too? People think I'm crazy because I get up for my boy at 3 am, his invariable time to wake me, hungry or not.

I knew that I was certifiable some years back with my first cat. I had become suddenly ill at work with flu-like symptoms. I left early, and all I wanted to do was have a bowl of hot, chicken soup and curl up in bed. I knew I had some canned soup in the cupboard, so I thought I was all set.

As I pulled into the driveway, I realized that when my cat heard the can opener, she'd think I was opening a can of tuna (which was what I had most often) and would want the water (her favorite treat). But I knew I had no tuna in the house.

So, feeling miserable and achy, I turned the car around that went to the grocery to get tuna so that I could open a can and give the cat the water while I heated my soup.

You know you're a crazy cat person when you lay on the bed shivvering because kitty is curled up on the sheets and you can't pull the blankets up without disturbing her -Which happened last night. I actually went back downstairs and got a flannel shirt to wear until she decided to get down

You make and actually spend time each week maintaining a silly cat blog which only appeals other crazy cat people.......instead of doing your work like a normal person. I can't stop!!!!!

I KNOW I'm a crazy cat lady as my hubby likes to give me the gears before lights out because I've got 5 cats sprawled out on the bed on my side. He hates it when I have to wriggle my legs around them, most of the time I'm being accused of kicking him in the legs LOL. I keep telling him that they are comfy and I can't move them because they'll leave. He says it's my bed and I can move them if I want...I keep telling him that I can't LOL

The reason they're on MY side of the bed is cuz I LET them do what they want. They know they are welcome on my side and I have spoiled them to the point it's their bed now

My cat gave me the impression once you have a Sphynx you no longer can refer to things are "MINE" or "MY"

I am not joking, she has taken the whole house. Knows no boundaries, even the ones we insist on setting for her!

Ooooh...I have a version of this one over here. I doze off shivering because I can't bear to disturb them when they look so cute curled up in the flannel quilt.

Yep, this is no longer my husband and my apartment. It's the kitty's place. The christmas tree? Apparently put up for their amusement. My brand new table? Theirs. My brand new place mats on my table? All theirs. lol, not that I'm complaining. I think it's funny. I love my naughty kitties.

You know you're a crazy cat person when your neice stares at you in puzzlement then said in front of EVERYONE that it doesn't look natural or right for you to be holding a human baby. You look right with a cat in your arms but NOT a human baby for heavens sake!

Yes, my 7 year old neice actually said that to me as I was holding my great neice and I looked at her and told her I used to hold HER as a baby and she said, "it still doesn't look right- you holding a baby. You look right with a CAT!" What could I say to THAT!?!
Words of wisdom from babe's mouth huh? LOL.

It's funny because I don't want to have any children if I EVER get married even though I LOVE my neices/nephews/great neices to pieces. My neice doesn't know I don't want kids so it's very interesting she said that... Kids are great but nah- I'll stick to my 6 furbabies.
