You toss your winter coat on a chair and come back later to find one of the kitties has made a nice cozy nest in it. So.... you decide not to disturb him and find something else to wear out into the cold wintry night!!

Anyone else have one of those crazy cat person moments to share???

Yep guilty as charged, have done that many times and even worked my way around my cats and slept right on the edge of the bed if they are asleep on my side
That is love. x

HAHA I do the same thing, not just with the phone though. If one of my babies are on my lap, I won't get up for ANYTHINg, not even to pee. I will hold it for hours, as long as I can take it, before I would disturb my kitties while sleeping on my lap.

My boyfriend thinks I am crazy, and I'm pretty sure he gets really annoyed because of it. But you know what? Anytime they're on his lap, he won't get up either, because he doesn't wanna disturb them either.

I've done the same thing. Also, if they're curled up where I want to sit, I'll go sit somewhere else. Even if they're sitting on the chair where I want to sit to have my supper. I sleep at an odd angle because they have taken a liking to the bottom corner of my side of the bed - and when Swanie stretches out (almost all horizontally too), there's not much room for me. Basically, the cats rule this house. And they know it too.

The arm is falling asleep in the position that I have it, but I don't want to move it because Larry's sleeping on it.
Duh. Guilty.

I know! I just thought of another one-- if you sleep with a cat on your head/pillow.

I have two cats who like to sleep behind my head, so I put a second pillow on top of/behind my pillow that is just for them to sleep on.

Money is very tight, you have months of cat food stocked up at home just in case, but barely any for yourself...

I just had a crazy cat person moment when, I opened a can of tuna in the kitchen at work, and was confused and looked down at my ankles wondering why there wasn't a cat brushing herself against my ankles in case I dropped any tuna, or wanted to share!

Oh I have a million.

How about spending three hours making stockings for your kitties?

Or only knowing what you're going to get your kitties for Christmas, but none of your family members?

Missing class because one of your babies has a cold. Leaving clothes on the floor on purpose because they make great kitty beds. Warming up one kitties wet food, room temperature for another, and cold for the other, because that's how they like it. The classic sleeping in the most uncomfortable position because he just looks so comfy curled against your legs. Kissing all three kitties when you get home before your boyfriend. Leaving the windows open when it's 40 degrees out because they like the cold wind. Giving up on having blinds because they get destroyed.

The list goes on and on....

Yep! I already ordered a few gifts for the cats and I know what else I am getting for them and Bianca (my dog) but not most of the people in the family!

You know you're a kitty lunatic when you've finally escaped a never-ending midwestern winter for a Carribean cruise, but after two days you wished you were back home with your furry friends!

You know you're a crazy cat lady when you shrug at your cat...for example, my husband is doing something silly, Cammy looks at me and I get the feeling she's like "What...?" so I shrug because I don't know why he's being silly. I don't know how clear that is, but I always laugh at myself.

You know you're a crazy cat lady when your cat knocks something off the cabinet and you yell "Clean it up!" LOL. I did that to Cammy yesterday...she didn't listen.

You know you are a crazy cat person when you dedicate your dissertation to your best friend who passed away in January 2009.
