Yesterday the Club I belong to went to a place called MIKE'S FARM, which is near Jacksonville, NC. It's actually two farms owned by one family. We went on a Hayride, pulled by a tractor, and it was fantastic! We saw all kinds of Christmas lights, trees and decorations. At one point, they even made it "snow" on us! Then we went into the Country Store, I bought some Candy Cane Fudge, Then we had a family style dinner of fried chicken, pork loins, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and macaroni and cheese. We had a choice of desserts, I had Cheesecake with Chocolate Sauce. It was a fantastic evening! If anyone lives near there, I highly recommend going!
