well i'm here...

somewhat.. i'm sorry I haven't been very active but a lot of things have been going on. i've been in competition for my job that i've had for the past 10 years. Because the department is downsizing they decided to make us all take tests/interviews for our jobs because they figured that is the most fair way to do it.
Found out on Friday that I've been made a surplus employee which means I am on my way out of this department. Because i'm an indeterminate employee in the federal government (canada) they do have to help me find employment with another department and hopefully they do...
well I guess with my friend dying in september and my house getting broken into the day after finding out..this would be the 3rd bad thing...I hope it only comes in 3's..

I should just tell the boyfriend that he needs to work 2 jobs and I can sit home...
that probably wont work...
my 3 babies are good (sabrina, salem and smokey)
although smokey now has a bad habit of crawling on me if i'm on the laptop and trying to lie down on my chest.really hard to see the screen to type...
and well I could live happily without a tail in the nose..lol
and he purrs nicely..my other 2 of course take turns on jumping on me...

my stepfather is not getting any better and I really wish I could find a way to help my mom..home care isn't really working out for her too well..she's having issues with some of the workers and he isn't going to get any better. No news yet on the home she wants to put him in.. for those of you who don't know.he's pretty much got alzheimers. I don't think its just dementia anymore.
well..thats my life.. oh and I've been mostly taking photos of hockey so..thats been taking up a lot of my time too...
i'm the official photographer for at least one hockey team. Had another team contact me and ask me if I could take photos too...
I've been dabbling with some 3d programs..mostly daz and vue 8..but have tried poser as well...
I may post some renders later.

You've certainly been going through a bad spell. Sorry to hear about your job. Hopefully you'll get a good, interesting one with nice coworkers in another department.

That's a bummer about your stepfather. My mom suffered from Alzheimer's for a few years, and the decline is really hard to watch and deal with.

Welcome back. Sorry to hear your news. I just hope 2010 is a better year for you. I sympathise with you on your stepfather too - my father got taken into a care home last summer with dementia - it is horrible to watch a person literally vanish into a shell.
