Wombat is coming home!!!(NEED TRAVEL VIBES!!)

thank you everybody. Today is the day!!! I am up at the crack of dawn and excited. Eileen said she would call me once she was done dropping him off at the airport to let me know how it all went there. My bathroom is all set up for him but I'm hoping he will only have to stay in there for less time than i expect. Eileen and I will keep you updated on here throughout the day.

Hey, Jenn!

I'm up early too - nerves I guess. I'll leave for the airport in the few hours. I ended up falling asleep on the couch last night watching a movie and didn't put Wombat in the spare room like I normally do. He spent most of the night snuggling with me, although I suspect it had more to do with the fleece throw I was using.

I'll give you a call from the airport as promised.

Eileen just called me, she has dropped Wombat off at the airport, had to fill out a bunch of papers and hold it all together while saying goodbye to the lil guy. She said he was scared and made me promise that I would call as soon as he was in my possession...which of course I will be doing. We need lots of safe flying vibes....2 nervous meowmys now....a foster meowmy and meowmy. Its really happening....I can't wait to get him in Newark!! safe flying lil Wombat

The next few hours are going to be pretty nerve wracking, but our little guy will be home before you know it. I sprayed the inside of his carrier with Feliway, and put in his fleece baby blanket, one of my smelly T-shirts and several of his favorite toys, so hopefully the familiar smells will bring him some comfort. Wombat didn't make a sound on the way to the airport. He was wide-eyed and huddled the back of the carrier when I said my good-bye's. Didn't want to get too emotional in front of the cargo guys. Once again I was really impressed with the care and compassion of the Delta staff. Wombat's in good hands.

I hate Wombat being so confused and scared, so please keep the vibes coming till he's safely home.

I know what you guys are going through...seems like yesterday that Ginger Cookie was making the LONG trip from Ohio to Colorado! The Delta staff (that's who you used for Ginger, right Eileen) took very good care of her, and I'm sure they will take just as good, if not better care of little Wombat.

Still, it's hard not to be a nervous wreck being on either side of the plane!

But in just a few hours, we will have another successful Kitty Fairy special TCS delivery! It's SUCH a special bond to have with Eileen, with the board who help (through the vibes) to make it happen safely, and with the kitty.

This totally reminds me of when Ginger Cookie flew home. We were both nervous wrecks that day, but just like now it helps tremendously to know everyone's vibes are seeing Wombat safely home. I used Delta for Ginger too and they definitely took wonderful care of her.

Just checked Delta's website and the little guy's on his way. His flight left on time and is actually scheduled to arrive a little early. I'll post an update as soon as I hear from Jenn.

Late getting to this this morning, but the have been flowing nonetheless. I'm guessing it shouldn't be too long now, before our little guy is safely home.

Just heard from Jenn. Wombat arrived safely and she and hubby have picked him up and are headed home. Jenn said Wombat is fine, just scared, which is undertandable. She also said he's adorable - obviously. She promises an update and pics later.
