I was in England with BF for 9 days and I got back on Thanksgiving day night. Genever was staying with our friend during that time, and seemed to settle in so quickly. I think she was almost sad to leave! But when I got her home she seemed happy to be back home with her mommy too.
So we had a week and a half on our own before BF (her daddy) got back last night, he was gone almost 3 weeks! So how might she react??
She was ALL OVER HIM.
After he got a shower, I was in the bathroom, and I came out into the living room, and there was Genever, on his lap! I said "How did you get her up there?!" He said she just jumped up. But, but.. she doesn't do laps! She does the snuggle up next to you thing, but I never get lap time! BF was petting her and she kept turning around, rubbing all over him, kneading him, like she just didn't know what to do with herself, she was so happy. It was sooo sweet! I guess I wasn't the only one who missed him lots.
She was ALL OVER HIM.
