My cat peed on my friend's bed!

Hi,
I am dogsitting for a friend and living at his house. Sometimes, when I forget to clean the litter box, Schweppie pees elsewhere. This time he decided to pee on my friend's bed. I used cleaner but I can still smell the smell....is there any way of getting rid of the smell?

I now clean the litter box every day.....ugh

If my bathroom wasn't clean, I'd probably go elsewhere too.

As for cleaning it - did you use an enzymatic cleaner?

Can't throw a matress in the wash though, You will have to completly saturate the pee spot with the cleaner and let it stay wet for at least 24 hours, that is so gross sounding I creeped my own self out, but that is how the cleaner works. Fess up to your friend and let them know what happened, they may decide to get a new matress.
