The Thing in the Bag toy

If you are considering buying this "toy" don't bother. It is a bag that vibrates.

My cats just stare at it and once in a while go up and take a sniff. Paid 14.99for it. What a waste of money! It should not vibrate, it should make the sound of crinkling paper, IMO.

I just get a paper bag and put toys in it! Or, I'll use a straw under the bag and wiggle it. That gets their attention and they try to pounce on it.

I've seen them before and thought they didn't look that great. Plus I'm cheap so I don't like buying things like that (something that the novelty would wear off of fast).

I agree with tossing a paper sack down. If your cats don't like it, at least it was free.

I have kittens that, like past kittens, really love those simple nylon cubes. They roll them all over the floor and no one has managed to destroy them yet. There's also crinkle tubes and crinkle caves that some cats like.

I have two cubes I bought three years ago - they're played with every day and still in decent condition. I just bought two more plus a tunnel that has a crinkling panel and attached the three pieces together. My cats just love running through them. It's hysterical to watch them playing; sometimes, two cats will run into it from opposite cubes and then pounce/wrestle each other for right of passage inside the tunnel. Makes me laugh every time I see it.
