It could be a game!
I am stage one high blood pressure, borderline aneimic.
I went greens crazy and veg crazy shopping.
I got,
All fresh,
Green beans, snap peas, spinach, asperagus, tomatoes,, Turnip greens , mustard greens , a head of cabbage, three big russet potatoes, carrrots, onions.

Hey Trillcat - Since I don't know anything about either condition, would it be inappropriate of me to post what I ate for dinner? It was vegetarian

High blood pressure= lower salt intake! That's the most important thing I know to help correct it. If you're looking for a great vegetarian dish, look at this! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/g...ipe/index.html I made it along with portabello parmesan (I added orzo in the marinara) as our 2nd thanksgiving meal... excellent, but way too much food for 2 people! The other recipe should be in the same episode.

If you have a pizza oven you can make pizza with a twist... use a tortilla as the crust, use pesto as the sauce, and add spinach, mozzarella, mushrooms, tomatoes, and season with your fav spices!
