I finally got around to resizing and uploading my pics from my trip home. I didn't get many pics on the way there due to timing, and the route I took. But on the way home it was wonderful.

My first stop came about lunchtime on Nov.22 (keep in mind, this is NORTHERN Ontario) when I spotted signs for a park.

It was called "Old Woman Bay", located 2hrs north of Sault Ste. Marie.

A sign with some history.

A video shot as I was standing in the middle of the beach and just rotated the camera from left to right. Lake Superior was wavey that day, but the temp was beautiful.... I had on a jacket, not done up.... Not bad for the "great white north" in Nov. eh?

Still shots starting from my right hand side:

My footprints in the sand.

picnic area

This last pic was a runoff of the lake.

Thanks for looking.

It was....very peaceful. I imagine in the spring is is absolutely wonderful, as in Nov. all the trees are bare and its kind of grey. But still quite beautiful IMO.
I would love to make that same trip in the fall when the leaves are changing colours

Not bad for November at all! Lake Superior and it's shoreline are spectacular. You should definitely try to get up there in Fall, it would be amazing!

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I'm having bandwidth issues again today, so I didn't click on the video - but it is GORGEOUS up there! I'm betting any season is amazing - but really, it is stunning.

LMAO..... Well, I didn't post it, but I took a pic of myself with the sign, and my arm is only so long so the pic had me and the caption Old Woman (which my hubby teases, since I'm getting some greys LOL)

Wow, what a wild wonderful place. I need to get my enhanced drivers license to get into Canada. I'd love to see this place.

Your last picture kind of makes me think of the entrance to Heaven.

Me too. I'm one of those people I would rather visit somewhere scenic ( my dream since I was a kid is to come see the Grand Canyon ) than a place like Vegas.

I see have some more pics to post, as I did the "tourist" type thing on the way home and visited a couple provincial parks. I really can't complain, no snow on the ground in mid Nov. and IMO great weather for hiking.
