Everyones trees look wonderful!

Here is a link to the picturs of our humble little tree. (i dont know how to make an HTML code for it
)

The hubby to be decorated the mantle and made it all pretty while i was at work yestarday as a surprise to me. I want to add a few more candles and maybe some fake poinsetta flowers to it.
So far because it is up off the ground the kitties havent bothered it. I think they dont notice.

We have had ours up for about a week, with no decorations....just to see if the kitties would climb it, etc. They didn't and we decorated it tonight

No theme really.... a mix n' match of gold balls + some special ornaments.

Now we're just wondering how many of the decorations will still be on it come morning

It's fun to see everyone's trees because they can be so different

If you look closely there are shadows of two cats on both sides of the tree . They love to sit under it.

Great trees and love those outdoor ones!

Mine when it first came home -
Uh oh kitty alert!

And decorated -
I wanted a simple tree this year and it's our first real one together. It does look prettier in real life!

I will have to take more when it's got pressies under it!!

everybody's trees are pretty. I'm super lucky with 6 cats nobody really bothers the tree. I don't know what i would do without a christmas tree. Sloth does have a spot dead center on the top of his head that is sap cause his nosy butt did get into the lower branches of the tree. I usually have them take off at least the bottom foot of branches and then lights and ornaments don't go closer than 6" to the bottom branch. i love christmas and i took tons of pictures of my tree, so there are a bunch of pics and videos here....sorry my photo and video quality are not the greatest.

Tree during the day.

my 2 favorite ornaments that always go on first up at the top of the tree....the custom cat ornaments i had made of Kricket and Worm....i'm working on getting 4 more for the rest of the kitties.

Tree at night

ok i apologize that the video is sideways i can't figure out how to change it but I wanted to share the really cool color changing glass bulbs i found at a special christmas tree store in PA

Mine is still holding out, even though smartie attempted going up the middle once, took me a while to get her out and the tree is still standing, yay
We've been quite lucky.x

I am quite surprised actually.

Noone has attempted to get the balls ( we did start them a little higher ) and noone has attempted to climb it.

Theres been minimal damage at the bottom where Kizzy likes to try to nibble the fake greens....but he's stopped doing it.

It took us about a week of monitoring and disciplining, but now for the most part the kitts leave the tree alone.

Now the damage is on the presents. See, the cats like to hide under the tree, amongst the pressies, and take off after another cat....disrupting the pressies in doing so. I've had to retape a couple, and just plain ol moved a couple of the very delicate pressies out from under the tree.

Just a little fiber optic tree here. It has really pretty flowing colors of light that look nice from outside, requires no ornaments (but could use 'em if you wanted to), and nothing breaks when it's knocked over.

I have tried and tried, and I just cannot for the life of me get a non-blurry photo of my tree!!!
I don't know what it is, if the tree is possessed and keeps moving or what... yeesh. I'll try to remember to get BF to take some pics with his brand new camera.

A pic of two of our trees: the tree in the living room and the Tacky White Tree in the kitchen. The living room tree is wired to the wall, down by the baseboard with green wire. The tree skirt covers the wire and it poses no danger to the cats. Without the wire, that tree would be on the floor within minutes....seconds even!

We also have a tree in our bedroom decorated with just Santa and reindeer and done in red lights. No pictures of that one yet.

Only just found this thread but here is my tree, not a lot on it because with all the cats and the pups around I thought it best this year not to put to much on.

Just a cheap lil 4 footer here, I hope next year we have a nice tree like we did last year.
It's beautiful!
