Rescued a new kitty:)

Hello everyone:

I found this beauty in front of my house like a week ago. I'm sure someone abandoned her in our street, it happens a lot around here. Well, she is beautiful and she is the sweetest most loving cat I've ever rescued.
She loves to be held by everyone.

She looks very young, I'm guessing she is a bout 5 months old. I made an appointment to have her spayed on Thursday and I have a family that wants to adopt her, but I have a little problem.

I see her belly a little big and maybe she is just gaining weight, but I'm afraid of her being pregnant. I really can't tell, so I will have to take her to the vet first to see if she is pregnant, if she is I won't take her to be spayed, I can't stand the thought of her loosing her babies. I just hope she is not pregnant so she can go to her new home...

Here she is:

What a doll! Hopefully she's not pregnant - she's so little. Maybe she's older than 5 months, just a smaller cat. I have one that I know her to be a year old last month, and she could still pass as 5 or six months.

I agree about not aborting the kittens - I couldn't knowingly do it, either.

If she is pregnant, I hope that you'll be able to keep her kittens and her together for a long time.

We were able to get our mommy feral trapped and spayed when her kittens were about 3 months old. We also trapped the kittens and got them altered at the same time.

She continued to nurse her kittens for another couple of months after she was spayed - totaling about 6 months of mother's milk for them. I think it was good for mommy and kittens to be able to have that much time together. We still have them, I couldn't bare to separate them.

Awww! What a beautiful girl with so much love in her eyes! It is sad to think anyone could abandon such a loving creature! She is blessed to have been found by you! If pregnant, she will have some beautiful babies in loving care!
