When the thought of napping with your cats is the only thing that gets you through the day.

When you tell people at the end of your route, when they ask how you are, you tell them better now, getting closer to my nap with my lovies!

You know you're a cat person when at home you have your own two kitties, and a room full of foster kittens, but yet you cannot resist going by the kitties at Petsmart just to give them a little pep talk about how they'll be adopted soon.

I do the same thing with the Petsmart adoptions. I fell in love with a kitty last time I did that, though, so it's not without risk.

You know you're a cat person when ....
you toss your winter jacket on a chair and come back later for it... and a cat has made a nice, cozy nest there... so you find something ELSE to wear out into the cold night!

you can't wait to step into the house and be greeted with a "happy dance" and lots of purring!

you go to the bathroom with an audience.

you play 'lunchroom monitor" to make sure that your barfy cat doesn't overdo it!

your livingroom looks like a cat toy war zone!

every cardboard box you see is studied for cat playability!

you surrender your favorite afghan blanket so the leather couch isn't so cold for their little hineys!!

you make a point of observing cats peeing and pooping - just to make sure everything is ok.

When you know by the sound of your cats voice what they want. Spud has a 'treat' meow and Thai has a 'bubbles' scream!! And they get just what they ask for.

This is the first time in I don't know how many years I finally put up a tree because of the cats. I thought I'd give it another shot after purchasing unbreakable ornaments. But the tree is still gonna be placed in the computer room at night where they can't get to it because I know the temptation will be just too much for them.

I can't think of anything else because everyone else has already mentioned what I was going to say, except for....

You know you're a cat person when you refuse to take a vacation because you can't find anyone you trust enough to take care of your babies while you're away -- and you also know that you wouldn't be able to enjoy the vacation anyway because you'd be worrying about them the whole time you were gone.

These are all so true! Especially the vacation part. Haven't gone on vacation for over 5 years.

You see your cat shredding paper towels but don't stop it because you think it's cute (Molly's shredding paper towels right now and it's too cute, I'm just sitting here watching her and typing.

Your cats eat the highest quality food you can find and you often have cereal or top ramen.

You have more pictures of your cats than people.

You hesitate to be friends with people who don't like cats.

Most of your internet time goes to your cats (looking at cat pics, researching your favorite cat breeds, spending time on TCS

)

If someone doesn't know what to get you as a gift, getting cat related items, especially toys for your cats is just as good or better than anything else they could have gotten you.

You sit on the floor because the cats are taking up the couch and you don't want to disturb them.
