You have a gorgeous boy! I googled and found alot of info. I am sorry I don't have experience, but I had to tell you he is beautiful and I will keep him in my prayers.

No personal experience but I have known a few kitties with it ,... IMHO diet is key

^Unless there's something else causing it.

Have all possibilities been ruled out? Been checked for an active toxoplasma infection? Flukes? thyroid issues, etc?

I am treating him with 5mg pepcid once a day and every other day he gets cipro for his appetite
he is also on forti flora for bacteria and enzymes
he senses when its med time and hids under the bed now

what else can I do
He will not eat the good foods the only thing hell touch is friskies chicken and select indoor chicken and turkey
any suggestions?

any food is good at this pt as he needs to keep eating.. maybe try some of the better fancy feasts

My cat has had several severe episodes. It seems to have worked itself out. There is't a cure. Hopefully it will work itself out for your kitty too. It's hard to see them so sick.

There is a Yahoo user's groups for kitties with this condition. I do know that there are pain meds that should be given because this problem is painful for cats.
