I love Devon Rexs. I think they are beautiful, but everyone i asks thinks they are ugly. My boyfriends parents used to breed burmans (his dad gave me an issue of his cat mag dedicated to Devon Rexs) and they don't like Devon Rex's and my mum won't let me have one, we have bog standard moggies atm. I want a pretty Devon Rex, but nobody would love him but me. Anybody here got a Devon Rex? Share the love.

My sister has a Devon Rex but she does not look like one to much.
The cat is not a full Devon like the breeder said and has very long fur now.
Rex cats are not ugly I see them at the shows all the time when I show my sphynx.
I love the Cornish Rex.
I have benched with Devon Rex breeders and they are nice looking cats.
My sphynx are called ugly by jerks.

Aw, like your pics, Wrinkles looks cute, but i think Meeko is the prettiest from the photos, what beautiful markings. I know pedigrees are hard work, to keep in and stuff, but i still want one, we've always just had BSH outdoor moggies. My mum makes suck a fuss of my boyfriend's burman, Barney, when she is over there.

Devons are a breed that's grown on me, I now find them really cute.

I know several breeders and they are great cats

Thanks,
Meeko is my 9.5 year old cat.
You know I came very close to getting a Rex instead of another sphynx.
You should go to cat shows so you can touch them and see how you like them.

Wow, i have never seen spotty cats before, what breed are they? Max has a spotty tummy, but other than that he is the dead spit of a scottish wild cat, only smaller.

We chose the Cornish Rex over the Devons. I bred and showed Cornish and prefer them as they hold their coats alot better then Devons do.

Now I own an Ocicat - we did have 2 of them (both are/were Grand Champions) - we just lost our 3 yr old Oci (chocolate spotted) this week to UTI complications. We have his baby brother, a cinnamon spotted who recently got his Grand Champion in shows.

Hopefully we will have another Ocicat in the future.

I absolutely love Devon Rex and they are my third favourite breed.

Personally I love their faces better then the snipey cornie Faces.

But the Cornies remind me of the greyhounds/whippets which I love too
I like the longer refined cats. I think people usually like either a refined or a smushy cat - usually not both
