If you have Vista or Windows 7, hit the start button and go to Devices and Printers. If it isn't there, you'll need to go to the Control Panel and click View Devices and Printers underneath where it says Hardware and Sound.

Now that you've gotten there, you should see your printer listed as a device. Double click it and it should give you an option to view or cancel printing jobs.

If you have XP comment back and I'll try to remember, I've been using Windows 7 ever since the release candidate came out and am already getting a little rusty with XP.

Hi and yes I do have XP. I have had my printer unplugged for about 24 hours now but have not tried to see if it cancelled out the printing. Since I was gone all day I will try plugging it in tomorrow. If you do remember how to cancel this please let me know. Thanks.

It's probably down in the task bar at the bottom. There should be a printer symbol. Double click on it, and it should bring up the printer list with pending documents. Just click them and cancel them.

Thanks that worked altho I had to do a few more things to get to the right place BUT IT WORKED. I printed out the instructions and will keep them handy. I am planning to purchase a new printer soon tho since this one is in really bad shape. Thanks again.

Alternatively, in the future, another way to do it is to stop the print spooler service and go delete the files then restart the service. But most people don't like doing anything by command line (even though it's much easier).
