Morning peeps!!

Yay Friday!!

It's paayday today and Friday and jean day.

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE

I have alot of cramming to do this weekend. My exam is next Friday so I want to shape up this weekend. Also I will be baking some cookies for my SS and getting the ift ready for shippping on Monday!

Off to the showers!

G'morning folks. Not sure what kind of day it is today, as its still dark out.

I have physio at 8:30, which I like... the early appt. that is.... It gets me moving instead of spending the morning on the computer

I have to pick up some grocery items, and maybe some xmas things

Have to finish a pkg being mailed to a friend, do some online shopping, etc.

Marks gonna be gone tonight cuz his company built a new office, so they have to move the old one which they are doing today thru tomorrow so that there are limited interruptions in service in peak hours.

Kendras BF is off to Australia today

Lucky kid.

My kids have a PD day today.... maybe we'll rent a movie or something

oh and I have to get my butt in for some bloodtests.

Morning. Oh maybe I will make cookies for someone today!

DS was up WAY to early and is babbling in his swing. I was hoping for a nap since he was up so early. Oh I see a big yawn.

I think I will be crashing early tonight. By the time his 2 hour nap comes around I would have drank a pot of coffee. lol

The cats are missing. It's cold and dark so they are sleeping in their hiding spots.

Have a great weekend everyone. I get to see my cousin who lives in FL for the first time in a few years.

Morning,

I'm just sitting at my computer trying to motivate myself to get going and head off to work. Tre is sitting on my lap trying to convince me not to go.

It's a cold one out today, so that doesn't help either. I ended up staying up fairly late last night and when I did finally go to bed the people above me were being pretty loud, so it took me a while to fall asleep. It's term end time i think and they were probably pulling an all-nighter. I'll try to go by the gym after work and then home for a quiet night with the kitties.

I'm going to try my luck at responding to my first post. It's payday and jeans day here, too. I love wearing jeans to work, but can only wear them on Fridays. I'm baking brown sugar-cinnamon biscotti and maybe orange-cranberry biscotti this weekend.

Hi, welcome Winchester.

There has to be some sort of cosmic irony in the Universe. I work in a place where I could wear jeans every day if I wanted, but I find khakis to be more comfortable so I never wear them.

Good morning all, and a Happy Friday to you!

And even better yet, Happy New Kitty Day to you! The little guys will be coming home at 4:30 today, so I am sneaking out of work an hour early to meet them. While everyone is excited, I think it is safe to say that I am the most excited. Yeah baby!

The snow just started falling here (northern Indiana), and I am glad I broke out the ol' winter coat yesterday.

Okay, back to work for me. I hope you all have a great Happy New Kitty Day! LOL

Morning All!!

We are in the middle of a snowstorm here, not really to bad yet but it is suppose to get worse as the day goes on.

It would seem I am a week ahead of everyone and did most of my baking last weekend. I did short-bread, sugar cookies, chocolate chip and butterscotch cookies.

Don't think I will be up to much today, will have to sweep of my stairs at some point but mostly it seems like a good day to say in, drink hot chocolate and read.

The kitties are actually watching the snow right now and seem to be finding it quite interesting.

Good Morning,

I am exhausted. I stayed up until 2am to work on homework, didnt even fall asleep afterwards cause I had to get up at 7:30am to finish my paper. I am missing one class right now because I had to finish my paper. Seriously who can write over 2,000 words about a book?? One that is about an antarctic expedition that went wrong? There was only soo much I could right about to fit in the limit that I found myself BSing about 45% of the paper

I have other classes later I am going to and I have work tonight until past midnight, I dont think I will make it, I am sooo tired now.

This has been the crappiest week EVER. So extra reason to celebrate that it is OVER.

Cleaning kitty box tonite, making a lasagna (gonna be the highlight of my week

), maybe catch a movie. The new Robert DeNiro movie is out. Thought I might go see that. He looks EXACTLY like my dad.

I have to do one last trip this week, to Houston. The complication is that they are under a winter storm warning! Houston! Snow!!!

Morning. Just now becoming functional at 10:50AM. I started a new med 2 days ago and my body is still getting used to it I suppose. So I will be heading to work soon for a half day Friday. I might go to the Seal Beach Christmas parade tonight to meet up with some friends, we'll see how I feel by then. Otherwise, Hooray for Friday!

I still need to plan my day tomorrow, do I go to the beer festival 1.5 hours south of here to meet my friend who's in from Boston? Or do I stay in town and head up to LA at night to see my friends (a band) from NY play a show? Or so I go meet the friend for lunch or early dinner at the brewpub next door to the beer fest and then drive back AND go to the show?

Then Sunday is football til I go pick up BF from the airport at 5:30. YAY!!

Gotta get through today first though.

So far the highlight of my Friday has been going to the doctor for my yearly physical.

oH well, I guess it's not fun for the doctor either.

Nice sunny day here, but very cold. I saw some snowflakes flying around and for a sceond thought they were fluff from a tree!

We had some light snow today as well not so much at my house as 20 south as the plows were out salting the roads.

Physically I'm still sick.........GRRR!!!!! Coughing and a super bad sore throat and now whatever I have is also turning onto a cold. No christmas decoating done, house is messy and I had insomonia last night so I only had about 3.5 hrs of sleep.
Hopefully will get some rest tonite but last three nights I woke at about 5 am to cough for the next 30 minutes.

Anyhow I'm done whining for now. Have to gargle with some salt water yet tonite hoping that helps a bit.

We plan on doing some Christmas shopping tomorrow-thank goodness I have a good majority done already.

Good evening! I woke up at 4:45 this morning and cleaned the house, did the laundry, wrapped presents, and cooked dinner. I cleaned things that I've not been able to get to in years today and my body aches. I'm about to feed the cats and then probably hit the sofa where I'll promptly fall asleep.

I know, I'm weird. I get excited about having a clean house.
