1) Well, my foster cats certainly keep me busy!! Did some serious cleaning the other night, vaccuuming, sweeping, dusting.... the downstairs looked good when I left.

Back in the morning... coming down from upstairs and what do I see? Right on one of the registers .. a ...big.... blob....of.... vomit! Yeesss.... one of the little darlings had puked onto the floor register.

At least it was dry food and not wet so it was a glob instead of a splat!

And the other good thing is that I had the register closed... so the puke didn't get into the duct work.

Sigh.....

2) I have two sets of bowls - upstairs and downstairs. I have scrubbies and dish soap, paper towels, etc, upstairs to clean those dishes. Soooo... I am in the master bath and the counter is covered with bowls... Ghost hops onto the toilet seat (closed) to hang out with me. Archie- big, chubby cat - come in and decides HE wants to get a better view of what I am doing.

Counter is covered with dishes, Ghost is on the seat... So, Archie decides to make a leap to the top of the toilet tank. Well... Sir Lard Bottom didn't quite make it and in rapid fashion... He tries desperately to get traction on the porcelain... flailing and grasping with his front legs, he kicks Ghost with his back legs, who runs from the room, squeaking, and on his way back to the floor -- Archie yanks the toilet handle and flushes the toilet!!! JUMP... THUNK... RATTLE, RATTLE, FLAIL, FLAIL, ....RRRROOOWWWW....EEEEEEPPPP... GAVOOOOSH!!! THUD!!! Zooooooommmmm!!!!! Archie is out the door like the devil is on his tail!!

I'm sorry. I could not stop laughing ... and thinking WHERE WAS MY CAMERA!!!!???? Seriously - it was America's Funniest Home Video quality and it happened in a matter of seconds!

I did go check on Archie to make sure he was ok....he was hiding behind some boxes in the hallway... looking chagrined!

3) Prowler has a new addiction. First it was sardines. NOW------- it's the Furminator. Yes- Prow who hates to be brushed, hates and fights like a demon when we clip his nails...runs and hides when I get out the Petromalt... LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the Furm!!! He purrs. He rolls around. He rubs. He follows me around like a puppy. He meows and wants more. When I realized he really liked it, I sat down in a chair and he came over, flopped himself down and I gave hin a good session. He wrapped his front legs around my ankle and was preaching all over my slippers. Silly boy!!

4) Ghostie likes to sing in the garage!! He has a flutey-reedy sounding meow - if you can call it that... and he goes in there, walks around and serenades the walls!!! I guess he likes the echo. Next stop, Carnegie Hall, right?

I know we all have cute stories about the cats in our lives.... I will stop here. Promise.

That gave me a good laugh. Thank you for sharing.

And I hear you about cleaning up to find someone leaves a surprise for you. I'll vacuum and sweep then Tomas and Sherman will have a wrestling match. Fur everywhere.

I woke up the other morning to find a sketch I had made the night before, and foolishly left on the dinning room table, shredded. Sherman struck. He likes the sound of paper ripping.

I pick up all of the cat toys and the kittens string them back across the house in less than half an hour.

I have a kitty who loves the furminator, and all brushing really, too. He'd let me brush him bald.

I am so glad you shared all those stories!
So funny!

I can see ReeRee doing the same exact thing as Ghost when he was walking around the garage singing. ReeRee likes the sound of his own voice too.

I am thankful that they haven't discovered that TP is fun to spin and shred!! I am sure they will though.

Ghost found a half-ful medium sized flower pot in the garage and decided it would make a great personal potty for himself. Iiiiiicccckkkk!!!! Couldn't understand why the G smelled so bad until I caught him having a poop!!!

We disposed of the whole thing and the next time out into the garage, Ghost went right to that corner aaaaand....... no flower pot ( which didn't smell like flowers mind you!) He began to yell in protest. Sorry, kiddo. Gotta use the litter pans like everyone else.

They are a constant source of amusement!!!

All cats are. That and the love they share with us it the only reimbursement we get for scooping their poop.

I just brought a 6'x3'x2' box home for my kittens (hide their food in + play). They're all fascinated. I bet your bunch would love some giant boxes - along with everyone elses cats.
