My car was rear ended in July, and deemed totaled by the insurance company. I had to option of keeping it, and getting $600 back, or turning it over to them. Boy did I make the wrong choice. I decided to keep it, it still ran, looked ok. Took the rest of the insurance money and put it down on a new (used) car. Then it started costing me tons of money. Needed plates right after that, then stopped starting, only sometimes though. Bought a battery, that didn't fix the problem. I have no desire to spend the time/money to find out what's wrong. Then I just got a monstrous bill from my insurance company from when I re-insured it.

I have always hated this car! I am done with it! I want it gone. I was able to get a new title, and had no trouble getting minimal insurance (liability, medical, and uninsured motorist).

Is there any reason I couldn't just put an ad on craigslist, sell it as is? I would disclose everything, of course.

If it has a "salvage" title, you need to make that clear in any advertising.
