I just wanted to say that I think the new forum will be a helpful addition to the site. And I understand that Amy Shojai will be answering questions there for only 2 weeks. Since some of us have older cats, and could share our experiences and knowledge, is there any way this forum could become permanent?

I think Laurie that this forum was created for Amy to use it exclusively. The only other option would have been to use Health forum, and the posts would have gotten 'lost'.

Making it permanent would be something Anne would have to decide on. Maybe after the 2 weeks are up, she will address the issue.

It definitely won't disappear after the 2 weeks are over. Right now the plan is to keep it as an archive - you'll be able to view the forum but not post. Every plan is subject to change - we'll have to see as we go along.

Hope you enjoy the new forum! Glad to see questions are coming in. I'm sure Amy won't be bored when she gets here on the 1st
