and all went well. There were a couple of glitches. The vet had apparently underestimated how far along she was and the puppies were large enough to survive.

Between her heartworms and everything else, (we do not have the room or resources for puppies), the vet's techs were kind enough to volunteer to bottle feed them and find them homes.


There were six but that's all the details I have. I knew if I looked, I'd feel awful. I trust they are safe with the techs.

So things turned out OK. Sadie looks so skinny, poor dear, but she is very happy to be home!

Now, one more test for the heartworms, to see how serious they are, then treatment. Hopefully, that will be it except for regular checks.

What an amazing story....
Sadie's puppies lived, they are being cared for and now it's Sadie's turn to have a chance at life.

Happy everything turned out allright.
Hopefully the techs will find these little ones homes and Sadie can start to have a relaxing and happy life with you.
