anorexia diagnosed as pancreatitis

showing symptoms of anorexia and having abondoned all the better foods I have gotten my 1 yr old to eat friskies and friskies indoor 2 flavors
he had a blood g/i workup and came back with feline pancreatitis
has anyone ever dealt with this
I am completely bummed out and I read it can become painful
I wont let my boy suffer
What can I do hes on ciproheptadine every other day and pepcid daily
advice needed
