I posted here at the end of October under "first time feral" about a little black cat in my neighborhood that had adopted me.
At the time, she had a bad case of fleas, she was a little thin, she had a few small bald spots in her fur, she was clingy and loud, requiring constant attention and willing to take attention over food, and she had the most foul-smelling litterbox I've ever come across. When I first met her, I thought she was a little crazy because she was crawling all over me, making a lot of noise, and constantly making eye contact - pretty strange behavior for a cat.
Well, she's been an indoor cat and had 2 vet visits since then - the first was for her basic checkup/shots, and the second for allergies and asthma. She's on prescription cat food. She's gained 1/2lb since coming here. She has no more fleas, and her coat is now healthy and shiny. She's a really beautiful cat. Her litterbox doesn't run me out of the apartment anymore. She's getting a bit more settled in here. She hates when I have to go to work, but she's getting used to it. She still loves attention, but she doesn't require it constantly, and the other day she even gave me the cold shoulder. :-)
She's still a little loud - she's jealous of my computer, and is yeowling around my feet right now. When she first got here, she also got spoiled to "people food", so she yells every time I go in the kitchen as well. She has learned to play a little bit. She loves her scratching post, and while she's not fond of toys, she adores bottle tops. She'll also run around like a maniac at times just to have fun. There was this time, when she managed to get the covers off my bed, into the floor, and almost to the door of my room:

She then decided that was a comfortable place to nap.
She's pretty much gotten used to having a home of her own, and she seems like a happy little girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncFHx13C4yw
