Licking things???

It all started with the rough foot mat at the front door. Jack would sneak in the porch if the livingroom door was open and lick it?. I bought a different one and he doesn't touch it now.

Now this afternoon i put up the christmas decorations, and theres a padded snowman that i stand beside the t.v....

Beside the snowmans feet theres fake pine branches and i caught him licking those several times, so now the snowmans in the porch

Now, theres a fake pine branch decoration on the unit that he's done his best to get at to lick, so that's going out of sight when we go to bed

It seems to be the roughness that attracts him???

Cuddles is licking and rubbing on the christmas tree we put up. I think it's in their nature to mark and rub on branches to leave their scent. I know that deer do the very same thing with low-hanging branches. it may just be his instinct to mark his territory driving him to do it. Has he had a taste for anything else odd lately?

No not really?. It's as if he likes the roughness on his tongue

Tinker still licks her blanket before she lays on it. it's already fuzzy by nature but she constantly licks it, till it's damp, then she plops in the dampness. it's cute

Jennie licks things. Not too often that I see, but I make her stop when I catch her at it. Usually the underside of the table (she sleeps on the chair) or the cupboard doors.

I think he's just an odd boy? I wouldn't worry too much unless he tries to eat them.
