Penelope -- thanks to all that replied

thanks to all that replied to my post about our beloved cat "Penelope". She passed away last year after a short illness.
she was 18 1/2 years old. we got her when she was 5 weeks old.
she was never sick a day in her long life until right at the end.

we had not planned on getting another cat until later but a feral cat came to our house and had 4 kittens, two were turkish vans, we kept one "Delilha" and we love her so much.
we have had her for over a year now and she has really been a blessing.

again, thanks to all for your kind words.
my wife made me into a cat lover years ago and Delilha is a daddy's girl, has been from the start and of course i spoil her.

That's so lovely that you've both managed to have your hearts lifted again
