My oh My, it is DECEMBER!

Good morning people!!

It is an exciting month...we've got my birthday of course

Christmas...New Years Eve!!! Not to mention ultimate slacking at work while putting up trees and having Christmas lunches..etc..

Just kidding!

Actually today I planned a Christmas fajita lunch with my office, should be delish!

No workout class tonight...I am going to relax and study for my exam.

Morning,

I was absolutely exhausted after my trip to the gym yesterday. I guess the long Thanksgiving holiday took its toll on me.

I crashed out at about 9:30 last night and woke up at 5 this morning. I've been sitting at my computer doing work since then. I'm going to do a couple of errands later this morning - a trip to the grocery store and the pet store to pick up a couple of last SS gifts I decided to add. Then back home to wrap those gifts, put everything in the box, and tape it up. I'm going to try to run to the post office after lunch and mail it out.

Later this afternoon, I'm going to take Tiny to the vet for her annual check up. I'm actually looking forward to that because I get to show off how thin she has gotten.

I'm going to get the vet to tell me what her ideal weight should be so that I'll know how much more weight she needs to lose. I think she only has 2-3 more pounds to go, so it will be nice to know what her final goal should be. After that, maybe a little more work before dinner and then I'll watch a little TV or read a book before bed.

DS has a temper this morning. He didn't want a new diaper. Mom took him away for a bit. She is shocked how wild he is right now. I am not enjoying the temper stage.

I might decorate the basement. I can't find the energy to get started. It usually is an all day event and with a child that will be interesting. Hopefully DH will give me a hand tonight.

Molly goes for her Depo shot tonight. I think it's been 1.5 months since her last shot. I was hoping she wouldn't need anymore but weather hasn't been kind. She was coughing a lot this morning

Mornin folks.... It is Dec. eh. Wow, I have to get my bum in gear. I have presents that need mailed, presents that need bought, etc. I'm hoping to do a lot of shopping online because I really don't want to be caught in crowded shopping malls with all the bugs around.

Woke to snow on the ground again, but today I believe will be the last day that we reach 8C, so I best enjoy it. The rest of the week, the temp drops, and calls for more snow.

OH, I have to buy some decorations. My good friend and neighbour planted "christmas trees" in his back yard a few years ago. This year they are large enough to decorate and I've always said I want to decorate them

Its me being silly. These neighbours are moving

So I would like to make it a special xmas for them.

I have physio today, so I'll stop and pic up some cat food, stamps, etc. after or before physio.

Morning!

Just another chilly morning here. No snow, but that's more of a surprise than anything. I'm off to work in a bit - we have training sessions all day so I have no idea if I'll accomplish much, but hopefully it will be a smooth day.

This might sound silly, but I'm looking forward to feeding my brother's cat tonight. I discovered yesterday tht she LOVES the laser pointer and is young enough that she's an absolute blast to watch, so I'll be getting her one of those for Christmas. :lol3 Let's just say I left him on sleepy kitty last night.

Anyway, off to thaw the car and head out to work.

Morning All!!

Woke up to snow on the ground here this morning as well.

A few things on the agenda today, due to some digging into local services I found a chronic pain support group that meets Tuesday afternoon from 2-4 and thought it might be something worth looking into. So that will be my mission for this afternoon.

Other then that I still need to do a bit of Christmas shopping and of course the kitty treat jar is only half-full and the kids are giving me the evil eye.

YAY it is finally December!!! Although if I get this new job...I will have to work Christmas

and every other holiday. :sighs: but I think it would be best to get a new job. I have been at the bowling alley for 4 years, since I was 16 yikes! And I am tired of working night shifts.

Ughhh I am feeling terrible this morning. Again no sleep due to coughing. And when I got up this morning I about threw up, I just kept coughing and it caused me to gag and it was just a horrible feeling, considering I havent thrown up since I was like 8

. Funny thing is is I dont really have a stuffy nose or runny one, but when I get the muccus in my throat it casues me to cough a lot.

I dont want to go to school right now, but I need to

. I have a lab this afternoon too and a night class that I must go to, when all I want to do is stay in bed and drink tea. And I have to go to the barn, but I dont think i am riding today, it made me feel worse yesterday. I HATE being sick!!

I'm having my coffee right now but then the carpet cleaners are coming! Yay I love when the carpet is clean! I'm going to mop the rest of the floors after they leave and I'm cooking Mexican food tonight so I'll have to start the beans soon.

Looks like we have a rare sunny day today!

Freakin December already! Wow. This year flew by. I'll be honest and say I am anxious to see it be done with, wasn't a very good year at all. Except for when we got Genever in January. That was the highlight and it kinda went downhill from there.

Anyway... I am almost done xmas shopping, so I just need to wrap stuff and then pack/ship a bunch of stuff to Pennsylvania.

Brother's birthday is today, another brother's birthday is the 6th, mom's birthday is the 18th, mine is the 26th... busy month, indeed!

Anyway as for today... work, a dr. appointment, then laundry probably. Nothing exciting planned.

Morning everyone! I am recovering from a day of writing a record 16,000 words. I finished NaNoWriMo last night... I did win, at 11:30 pm last night... the closest call I've ever had in getting it verified.

I have a critique class tonight for my Non Fiction class... I also really need to go grocery shopping. It's sunny, but cool outside at 49 degrees. I now get to start cleaning up this place. November is a crazy month, so now I can wind down and relax.

Well, Tiny got a clean bill of health on the physical exam. I won't know anything about the blood work for a few days because they ship it out. I'm not expecting there will be anything wrong, but my vet was skeptical because she's not used to seeing cats lose any weight at all unless they're sick. She told me it was tough to gauge her ideal weight since she was so tense on the exam table (Tiny, not the vet), but that she could stand to lose another pound or two. Right now, Tiny is sleeping it off in her heated cat bed and I doubt she'll move again for the rest of the night.
