I got lucky. I have friends staying with me for the weekend that have better cameras than I! Here are some of the adorable photos we managed to get with 3 cameras, versus my 1 trying to catch him in the act!

my gosh what an adorable baby! He looks like a stuffed kitten in that keyboard pic! If I lived closer I'd apply to adopt him, the darling thing. I love Red Boys.

Habibi has a home!!! He is living with a a friend of mine, and she adores him! Her boyfriend and I gave her a box today, and she opened it and looked confused. Inside was a kitten collar and some cat toys. Then she read the tag, which said "Habibi" and she her eyes got wide and teary. She looked at her Boyfriend (who has been telling her firmly "no" to adopting him since I took him in) and said "Really? Really!?" And when he said yes she started crying and hugging us all. Habibi will be well loved in his new home.

Hello,

I cannot tell you how excited and happy I am to have Habibi in my home! He is (by far) one of the cutest, sweetest, loving, laid-back, and chill cat I've ever had. At night he curls up next to me or my boyfriend, and at times we'll even wake up to him snuggled up between us, his baby motor (what I call him purring) going! He is generally quite relaxed and sits next to me while I sew, am on the computer, or studying throughout most of the day. And every kitten wouldn't be a kitten if they didn't spaz out. He get's hyper for about half an hour 3 times a day, and that is all.... what kind of baby is this? lol. But I love it and we suit each other and love each other quite a lot!

Habibi's new mommy!

Thanks so much for joining TCS and updating us on gorgeous Habibi. He is SUCH a handsome little guy, and I'm so glad everything is working out so well. Congratulations on your furry bundle, and feel free to ask questions regarding health, behaviour, nutrition or anything else that comes to mind. We love photos too

There are just so many sad stories that come through TCS, especially about the strays and ferals, that I had to share a happy story for once! I am so very very happy that I managed to at least make one life better. ;-) (two counting the new owner's, but I think I made the BF miserable! ha ha)

huh. I'll bet he turns out to be the one who loves Habibi the most.

A lovely, well-written, heart-warming story. Thank you, SamhainBorn, for rescuing little Habibi, and for posting his story.

(P.S. One of my hobbies is belly dancing and it was the title of your thread that caught my attention. I was like, "Huh?"
Great name for the kitty!)
