last night was sitting in the lounge, all of sudden heard the cat flap going and just thought it was one of my three, then i saw this black and white cat peek its head round the armchair, i had to look twice as Glamorous is also black and white but this one wasn't Glamorous
as she was sat in front of me!!! my neighbours cat keeps coming in, i don't know how to stop her coming in, i did think of the collar thing where it has magnets on and a cat flap only lets in the ones that have the magnet, however no good as my three ALWAYS lose there collars! any ideas? because Sparkle doesn't like strange cats coming in, it upsets her as she has to have a routine.. what do you suggest i do? i myself think this is hard, as they are not indoor cats and nor do i want to take away there freedom.. thanks, any help appreciated =)

Sorry, I can't read your post, the color just glares so much it actually hurts my eyes to read it.

Oh, dear! That is a problem! My neighbor's cat constantly tries to follow us in the house, but we don't have a cat door. I wish I could offer a solution, but I have absolutely no idea what to do in this situation.

I don't have any advice for you either...but this reminded me of my mom's old place (I lived there too at the time). She used to have the bedroom on the bottom of the floor of our old house and would keep the window open.On more then one occasion stray tom cats would come in our house and spray everywhere. We had to open the door and basically chase them back out...even though we had a dog then that didn't like strange cats,he didn't deter them.

Is there any way you could keep the special collars on your cats so they don't fall off? Maybe tighten them or something??

thanks.. but no not really as ive used flea collars on them, and did them tighter and still didnt make a difference, as they still lost them.
