Hope, I know that you are looking down on all of us (including our kitties and even those of us, like me, who never had the opportunity to meet you. Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanza, and a Happy New Year to all.
Very nice work!!

Won't someone please explain this? Not how it started but how to do it? I haven't the least clue.

I am trying this for the first time....
first you copy and save the tree.
I think that most members use photo minulatpion software such as Photoshop/Elements or the one I am using that is free...GIMP.
They are the same software that is used to make signatures.

Check out the signature thread, it might give you a better idea about these programs.
Go ahead and try doing one yourself....
it's fun.

Right click and save the image, then decorate it in whichever program you chose
(photoshop, MS paint, paint shop pro, etc.)

Over the river and through the woods...
When you right click the pic save into MY Documents (most paint/editing programs can pull them out of there) Then you have to send it to a website like photobucket to upload it onto TCS. It took me a while to figure it out, but once you do it's pretty easy. Let us know if you have any problems.

Haha Jan! The first year I lived on my own I printed this guy off in colour and used him as my tree topper!

What a great idea for a thread! I'm sure Hope would approve

I'm not the artistic type, so I'll just admire everyone's work
