The Sunday after Thanksgiving, 2005, we adopted Hannah Grace from Animal Control (aka "The Pound"). Her first week was spent at the vet's office because she was so sick she almost died. Then, she spent the next month in solitary confinement in the spare bedroom recuperating and getting well enough to be out with our resident cat. She's been such a blessing and source of much love, laughter, and education.
