On the way home from work, I came across a dead tabby lying in the road. I stopped and moved it to the curb. It was a beautiful and well-kept cat, and now someone is without their lap warmer. This was a residential area, low speed limit, type of area. It probably belonged to a house within a couple hundred feet of where I found it.

RIP poor tabby. You should have been warm inside your house.
