Ally's 1st birthday (party)

I took some photos of Ally's first birthday party tonight. As per the suggestion of another member here, I made Ally a "cake" out of cat food. It's one kitten size can of cat food on top of an adult size can of cat food covered with Wellness dry food and her favorite treats (and also I put the number "1" on the top for her first birthday). I know it's silly and absolutely ridiculous, but whatever.

Also, I made her a little party hat out of wrapping paper and tape. She didn't seem to mind it at all. I'm not in the habit of dressing up pets, but I figured for her first birthday picture it would be a nice memory to have.

Hee hee hee, love the pics! Do you have eating the "cake" pics?
Just an aside, if I tried to put a hat on my cat I would be laying in a pool of blood trying to dial 911 without my hands that the cat chewed off as a directive to never put a hat on her.

I think they decided they liked Ally and Ollie when I had both of them up in Minnesota and my parents realized that they missed them. They enjoy having them back here for the next month or two, or maybe longer.

I'm thinking next year she's going to want a big party with all her friends, black-tie, presents, champagne.....maybe a clown.
