TICA - The International Cat Association

CFA - Cat Fanciers Association

ACFA -American Cat Fanciers Association

I show in TICA ad CFA because there are no ACFA shows out here.
There are also more in other countries that my friends show in.

Mine can't be left out as I refer to it often. I'm a registered breeder/Longhair Judge with the NZCF (New Zealand Cat Fancy) www.nzcf.com

Its ACFA - American Cat Fanciers Association.

Actually Sharky for a little history lesson

CFA was first, then they had a break off of people that formed ACFA because they didn't like some of the policies in CFA (judges left CFA to become judges in ACFA).

Then after years, some in ACFA didn't like the policies anymore and so formed TICA - again people and judges left.

Each state here has 2-4 different associations, most falling under the rule of ACF (Australian Cat Federation) and CCC of A (Co-Ordinating Cat Council of Australia) both are members of WCF - World Cat Federation.

In my state we have
FASA - Feline Association of South Australia
GCCFSA - Governing Council of the Cat Fancy of South Australia

And in Europe and South America:
FIFé - Féderation Internationale Féline (www.fifeweb.org)
