I introduced Milkmaid to TCS only a month or two ago, and she really likes it here as she learns all about you all. She is having a terrible time right now and could use some really good vibes.
She lost her cat Sylvester last week, victim of a horrific car accident. Today, at the vet of all places, her dog Fozzie died as he was coming round from a run-of-the-mill neuter operation. The vet did an immediate autopsy, but could find no reason for it. She had taken him in to be done at the same time as she took Cookie (who was my foster kitten and is now 6 months old) as although he was 7 years old, there had really been no need. Now, her new(ish) partner has female dogs and she decided that her two (males) should be fixed. We all know how awful it is when you are trying to do the right thing and something goes badly wrong. She is devastated and feeling responsible for Fozzie's death.
I am sure she will do a bridge thread for Fozzie when she feels able, but right now I thought I would give you all some background, and ask for your support.
