What do you feed your girls?

I've been feeding Natural Balance, because it is the best choice available in my area. I can also get Chicken Soup, Iams, Nutro, and Purina One. I feed my nuetered boys, and my stud a mix, of NB, Iams, and P1. They seem to like the variety. But the last kibbles left in the bowl are always the NB. LOL So
I was thinking about making a mix of kitten foods, and NB for the girls to give them variety too. They always go for the mix when they have a chance.
Everybody also get NB canned in the morning.

All my cats, entires, neuters, kittens are raw fed.

Kittens not staying here will also get Advance or Royal Canin kitten dry and Advance or RC kitten wet.

I don't breed or anything but I feed all the animals (dogs & kitties) chicken soup and they love it! It's the best food for our budget (wanted to do taste of the wild but it's about 10$ more for 5-10lbs less food). They also get canned or raw for dinner. I can't remember the name of the canned off hand.

My Sphynx get Royal Canin and all the other except Coco get Chicken Soup for the cat lovers soul.
Coco gets Purina N/F Kidney.

I don't breed but all my cats get Orijen (neutered or before.)
IMO Royal Canin is too expensive for the quality of food you are getting.

I feed all my cats Healthwise, Evo, and the kitten gets Royal Canin 36. It's hard though, I let all my cats eat freely....they're free fed so alot of them like to nibble on the kitten stuff. I just like them to have variety and they seem to enjoy that. I also feed soft food in the a.m. and at supper, but at 2 bux a can x4 cans a day, that's really expensive. They do like the Spa Select and that's the expensive one.

See, and I've been thinking about feeding everybody the same mix as the boys, then I wouldn't have to buy so many differnet foods everybody could eat the same thing.

We only feed one kind of dry - Max Cat. And we give canned food every day - Wellness, Blue Buffalo, Natural Balance, Iams, Max Cat or Nature's Choice. And started a few months ago of feeding raw twice a week - chicken wings or stew beef.

Do you ever have any tummy problems with feeding so many canned foods?

I cannot answer for Golden kitty45 but 95% of cats have no issues with a variety of brands of Canned food or switching flavors daily

Thank you

My females (pregnant and lactating) get a mix of RC Persian adult and RC Persian Kitten. When they're not pregnant or lactating they just have the adult.

Nope - you actually have more problems switching the dry foods all the time. They get a different brand/flavor each day and have had NO problems. This way they are not picky cats - will eat anything put in front of them.

They do only like the pate' kind - none of the meat/gravy in the cans.

So, do you start them slowly on a new "flavor" at first? Just like dry food?
Nope - never have - there are one or two at first they didn't like, so I didn't buy it. Ling is the pickest cat I have - but only when it comes to people food - she eats all of the cat food.

Charlie and Jack are foodaholics - Jack more so then Charlie. But I just "announce" which flavor is for supper and they really don't care

Thats funny! I'm sure my cats would be the same way!

What I do when bringing home the canned foods, is stack them so that no flavor/brand is repeated two days in a row (other then when I use the larger cans of Wellness now - then they will get repeat food till the can is gone).

I also forgot to mention I also feed canned food, mostly Wellness grain-free and Solid Gold tuna, sometimes other brands. I forgot to include that because most of my cats refuse to touch canned food. Sneakers is the main one who gets the canned, and Roxy and Church will eat small amounts but the younger littermates won't touch it. I'm trying to find one they will eat so I've been buying all sorts of brands lately...
I also wanted to add some raw but so far I haven't been able to get any of them to eat it.

A lot of breeders keep their queens on kitten wet and dry to maintain condition.

I read that somewhere else too.
