Dairy-free dessert

Ok, so I'm searching for a couple of dairy-free dessert options for Thanksgiving tomorrow. One friend in particular can not deal with the SLIGHTEST bit of dairy, so I have to be careful. I think commercial pie bases have dairy in them, so might have to make that myself too.

I'd like to do pumpkin pie, but finding a dairy free one is proving difficult. I would ideally like some fairly traditional dishes (but don't really know what traditional Thanksgiving dishes are... ).

Any suggestions?

Pecan pie is another traditional Thanksgiving dessert. It doesn't include any dairy.

ETA - they can be a bit difficult and messy to make though.

Bleuchh pecans are gross!

I found a pumpkin pie recipe that I could make dairy free. Actually I found a couple, so I have two in the oven - with different bases and different fillings. We'll taste test them, see which is the best and do that (it may be one base with the other filling). Then we'll have LOTS of pie to eat!

I got some lactose free ice cream too, so that and pie should be ok.
