3 alters showing against each other

Well this should be fun and interesting. Have a show mid-december in North Carolina and will be entering 3 cats all in adult alter class, so they will all be competing against each other for breed and then against everyone else for finals.

The contenders are:

CH Meridian Secret Agent Man. (needs 3 finals to Grand)
CH Drinkwater Rome of Meridian. (needs 2 finals to Grand)
Meridian Full Metal Jacket Part Deux. (first adult show)

I am really looking foward to see how the judges place these very distinctly different looking cats. I would like for Rome and Secret Agent to Grand and Jack to Champion.

Jack is more than likely going to be another TCS member cat, going to TCS member, Starfish. She will handle and show Jack in Jamestown.

Lianna is happy to be getting Jack.
She was upset about how Top Cat acted at the shows.
I know she can not wait to show Jack.

I got some more stuff for the cats' place (garage). Luna and Top Cat are using it now when we are not in the house. They have a cat dome, a kitty corner with a hiding hole, a homemade box filled with fleece blanket (a cat favorite - Hurricane loved the one I made for him while we were keeping him for sister), and even a self-warming cat mat.

Also, brother is no longer staying in the house, so we have an extra room to keep him separated until he gets used to the house and the other cats.

Good luck! What part of NC and where? I'll be in NC around the 20th of Dec (Charlotte) visiting my inlaws. Might be a good oppertunity to check out my first show

Be careful Nial - usually winds up the ones you WANT to win the finals are not the ones that do it - Jack could wind up taking it from the other two you know....lol

Friends of mine put 4-5 different breed alters against each other and then complain when the one they want to get finals doesn't!

I'd rather stick to one or two against each other...lol

But good luck at the shows

Had two calls of CAT LOOSE at my last show. Of course both loose kittens were either Cornish Rexes or Oriental Shorthairs.. those cats are fast AND squiggly.

I only carry two kittens under the age of 6 months - after that if I'm showing more then one - they will be taken individually to the ring.

That's actually not that far away (only about 1.5 hr drive) from my inlaws! Too bad I don't get there till the week after Good luck at the shows!

I have seen some loose Abys and Rexes at our shows.
I am not sure if you know Jerrie Wolfe the La Perm breeder.
Her husband brings 3 kittens to the ring at once.
She hinted for me to get a La Perm but I do not want one.
They are way cheaper then sphynx lol.
Good Luck to everyone showing at the North Carolina show that I know.

Jack got out of the cage in the rings one time - my fault. But I had the feather toy and he just came out from behind the cages. I know that if he did escape, all I would need is the cat food shaker and he'd be right there
