Maxwell, a handsome stray

Maxwell is my new shelter love (because I always love the scared ones more than the kiss your face, love you to death ones)

He is a little shy but a lovebug once he trusts you but has the most beautiful markings

He appears to be a silver tabby as long as you dont look at his face, where he has some buff coloured markings.

The person who found him described the markings and we thought oh dilute torti - must be female. Then the vet called and said 'ummm Maxine isnt a Maxine, but a beautiful neutered boy' so he became Maxwell.

The photos dont show him well as he hides in his cage and its hard for me to hold him and take a photo

Wow, he is a VERY handsome boy

I'm always drawn to the shy ones too...

Can't wait to hear more about him and see more pictures of the pretty boy, unless he gets quickly adopted of course!

I hope he gets adopted soon, we are at our max for what we can afford / have space for but I am in love with him and I am always at risk of taking them home if they spent too long.

Sweet face! Scared and skinny! Hope he gets a home!!

I am also a sucker for the shy,frightened ones. I have two fosters with me right now who qualify!!

I dont think he actually needs someone with a lot of patience, i think the shelter environment just scares him.

If people look past that scared face and actually sit with him for a few minutes he is a doll and loves to cuddle
