My new kitten Dexter is very precious but he has 1 bad habbit. He like to bite as I sleep, he will cuddle for a while but then lay on my neck and bite my ear lobe, it hurts like hell. Why is he doing this? He is only 2-3 months of age.

Does he draw blood? If not, it is affection biting and a way that cats show you they love you. Momcats bite their kittens all the time, it is the cat's way.
If he draws blood then you need him to find another place to bed down. Or, you can put some lemon scented oil on your neck and he will find another place to lay his head.

he does'nt really draw blood, although his teeth are sooooo sharpe that it hurts. I know he is showing affection because he is purring. I will try lemon scent.
