but my best friend's dog had to be put to sleep Saturday because the house was not puppyproofed and the still-a-puppy ate carpeting and things that clogged him up so bad that they could not save him. The dog's name was Wilson, named after the volleyball in the movie. My friend is exactly my age and an empty nester like me so Wilson was his son, just like Persi is mine. RIP Wilson!
