Hi all, my husbands grandma Barbara as been ill for about 3 months and she has deteriorated alot recentely, she hasn't eaten a proper meal for 14 weeks and has lost 3 stone, she cannot keep anything inside her and having alot of bowel problems. She has seen a consultant but has to wait until 15th December for a scan and until 20th January for the results !!well I told my mother in law that this is just not good enough and after going to see Barbara on sunday she looks terrible. I told my mother in law to phone the doctors, she is in excruciating pain and painkillers make it worse as she has no food in her body to help them digest.
My mother in law phoned be a while back to tell me her doctor wants to admit Barbaba tomorrow morning and get all the tests done and find out exactly what is wrong but she is petrified and refusing to go, she thinks she has cancer and won't return from hospital. She really needs to be in hospital and get proper pain relief and find out what is wrong. I don't want to go into too much detail on her symptoms but they aren't nice and I can understand why she would think the worst but the point is she can't go on like this at home. Please send vibes for her to go into hospital and I pray that it isnt something too drastic.xx
