She puked about 8 times today and I googled it and found out it could be a bowel obstruction so I brought her to the vet. They said they wanted to keep her and xray her and they called me at work and said she had a bowel obstruction and she is having surgery tonight. I didn't know what questions I should have asked. I thought she would be okay and come home tonight. I'm really really sad and worried. She's my baby.

UPDATE:

Okay, she's out of surgery already. They didn't have to cut into the intestines or anything, there wasn't anyTHING blocking them, for some reason they were all bunched together because of pancreintitis or something like that. They said maybe a protein deficiency. They also said we're going to have to talk about a diet change, which is fine with me. The only reason I have her on this crap (purina complete formula) is because she's so stubborn. But now that I know it's effecting her health I can be stubborn too! They said they'd like to have her home before Thanksgiving.

Oh my gosh, you mean, she's going to have surgery in the next few hours? How nerve-wracking for you!!

Do they think she ate something she should not have?

<<<Hugs>>> and many vibes for calm for you and an easy surgery for Cammy.

Yes, she's having surgery in the next few hours. I really don't know what it could be...Abbey's the one that gets into stuff she's not supposed too.

Thank you!! DH and I were wondering, but we were a little afraid to google it. That does make me feel much better.

I called and checked on Cammy twice today. She hasn't eaten yet. I hope she eats tonight and maybe come home tomorrow, we really miss her here. Abbey's been meowing a lot, she rarely meows.

It just hurts my heart to think of her all alone in her cage, wondering why I left her there.
