I just started by asking for advice on 11/19 and everyone who answered was very nice and informative.
I live in northern Virginia. I have 6 'fids'....5 cats and a dog.
The cat fids are Micky my old lady...14, black and tan tabby. Then there is Flash, my big grey fuzzy furball who is maybe 8 (she found me). Next is JoeJoe who is 8 and I found him as a tiny little thing crying like crazy from inside a soda machine (they are like refrigerators at bottom...compressor and empty space) at Eckerds Drugstore and he is a silver spotted tabby and quite handsome! Next is Isaac who is 3 and is solid grey and is both a little terror and a sweetheart. (my favorite in case you could not tell from my screen name...but don't tell the others) The last kittie is the one I have had to ask advice on. He was crying pitifully and loudly outside the garage door 9 days ago and saw the neon 'sucker' sign on our house. The vet's age estimate a week ago was 14 weeks. He is a black and white (well his ears have a sort of brown cast) 'mask and mantle' patterned kittie. And BTW the constipation problem seems to be resolving with pumpkin and olive oil!
The last fid is Teddy the dog who is 5 and found me when he was 5 months old.
Anyway nice to have met those who I already have and hopefully I won't need so much advice in the future.
