I promise I didn't drop off the planet but my comp broke so I'm doing my tcs snooping off my new phone cuz my env broke too so I had to get a new one. Hopefully ill be able to afford a new comp soon so I can actually get on here better. But good news is my blackberry has high speed internet so I can look at everyones pics and videos better which I love. Its way better than dial up. But fatman is doing better off his meds the other 3 kids are doing great too. I just wanted to let yall know I'm still alive and ill be on when I can.

What happened to your computer, specifically? For most people money can be a little tight around the holidays, so if it's a fixable part that could save you from replacing the whole thing for a few months.

I hope you can get on when possible.

I lost my network drivers on my old dell I had to return my compoaq to the leasing center because money did get tight and I couldn't afford to keep paying the hundred bucks a month especially after having to replace my phone. I'm saving up to just get a cheap netbook (a 100 bucks) and then I can just hook my phone up for internet with saves me still another 40 dollars in bills but with christmas coming up its tough plus customers aren't tipping as well right now with black friday coming up and this week being thanksgiving week. But I'm going to keep my head up because at some point things will get better. Atleast I can get my tcs fix still and I'm not completely cut off.

So it's just a driver issue on the Dell? Don't let that defeat you!
Google + some time searching could find the drivers for you. You would probably need to use a friends computer and put them on a disk or usb drive, though.

Or a friend who likes to fix things.

I'm hoping to be able to download the drivers onto a usb drive and load them up as a quick fix. I was on the phone with dell tech support for over two hours trying to fix it. Basically they said my comp (2001) is so old its basically not worth fixing. But I've got a friends comp and usb drive I can use to load the drivers up to its just a matter of getting the time because of work. I'm just glad right now I'm not completely cut off from the world lol. I can get tcs, read my bravo blogs and browse facebook. For right now I'm ok but I will get it fixed or get a new computer eventually. Lol

I'm glad your Blackberry allows you to use the internet. I am so "behind the times" and tech-impaired that I was under the impression Blackberries are only for email.

Well that was rotten of them. But they probably don't have enough training/time/pay to spend more time helping you.

If I lived close to you I'd fix it.

Driver issues on a windows machine are easy after having to find odd ones for a printer in linux - which wasn't that hard, I just had to get them from a Japanese site that had them labeled differently.
