We kind of noticed it before, but we did not think it is a serious problem.
Cheetah and Panther were cage mates in the shelter. Cheetah warmed up real fast when he first arrived home and Panther was hiding for a little bit, but warmed up after 4-5 days. Panther seems to be very alert all the time.
They are best buddies and are constantly looking for each other. When we had 2 litter pans in the bathroom. Cheetah will always run into the bathroom when he found out Panther is heading that way. We did not think too much about it.
We later added 1 covered litter box in the living room. Cheetah will always go when I uncover the box and scoop the litter, and he does not care about people watching him. And Panther never shows any interest in watching him. Panther, on the other hand, I have never seen him go.
Tonight, I changed a new litter in the litter pan, and I was there telling them they can use this one. Cheetah was the first one to use it. Then when Panther started digging, and was in position. Then Cheetah got close to him, and Panther ran away without going.
Cheetah has a sensitive stomach, so his stool is always a little bit looser. So I can tell Panther does use the bathroom and has normal amount of stool. I had no idea how and when does he do it.
Since they have been living together for a long time already, should I even worry about it?

I do not think it is bullying, but they do play very rough.
