My Exotic Shorthair needs to have his teeth brushed on a daily basis but he absolutely hates it! I can understand why but he squirms so much that I don't feel like I'm doing a great job and I don't do it enough because of it.

Does anyone have any tips for this? Right now I'm using one of those plastic covers that go over your index finger to clean his teeth...I haven't been able to find a toothbrush small enough for him (he is about 9 pounds and since he is an Exotic his teeth are smaller). I haven't been able to find any really good Youtube videos on how to do it either but what I've found seems to be in line with how the vet showed me to do it.

He has a seafood toothpaste which I can't really tell if he cares for...does anyone have recommendations for a "tasty" toothpaste?

Thanks!

Mine like any seafood pastes so no help there but they all hate petrodex, they do like the chicken flavour CET that came with their tooth brushes though, maybe that would work

But some of mine do not like the finger toothbrushes, that with my finger is too much invasion of their mouths obviously but are fine with a cat toothbrush (we have CET ones from the vet and a longer angled one that doesnt have a brand on the brush and I dont think we have the packaging)
