six feral kittens no mum UPDATE

Hi all

just an update on the six feral kittens with no mum. They have all been trapped ! We saw them around the car yesterday. I guess they were hiding all that time waiting for their mother.

. We put out fresh food in the trap .They were caught two at a time except one that I managed to get to come to me. He was crying and crying and so tiny. He was the only one that trusted me. The others were very upset and hissing and spitting. They are all in pretty good shape . I will post a picture soon.

The neighbour helped out but decided to call the Animal control and they came and took them to the Humane Society . They said that is where they bring them .

I thought I could take them but they would not allow me to. They said that the Humane told them that they would get vet attention shots and be tamed and found homes for.

They were on their property and so I had no say really so I am afraid there was nothing much I could do. I hope they will ok. I could not have afforded to get shots for all those kittens anyway so maybe for the best.At least they are not going to starve out in the wild.

Just wanted to let you all know what happened. Thanks for your advice and help.

Wonderful news! I was beginning to have black thoughts...

I suppose if you want you could contact now or somewhat later the Human society and tell them too you are prepared to help if they need help.

Or something like that. It will lessens the risks if they dont have foster homes at ready and thus must take the other solution.

Tx for helping these ours small brethrens.
