I love calicoes and torties
. I love their unique coloration and how beautiful yet different each and every single one is. I'd love to have a calico, but I'm at my kitty limit now so I'll live vicariously through you all in this thread. And, besides, I have my beautiful tortie to show off
.

Here is my pretty girl, Emory:

I wish I had a pic of one of my first kitties -- Mocha. She was a tortie that we found living under our front porch with her two tuxie brothers. She now lives with my father in Pennsylvania and is still going strong at almost 21 years old. Other than arthritis and gingivitis (she had a bunch of teeth pulled last year) she is doing well and still as feisty and full of tortie-tude as ever! Her markings aren't as pronounces as Emory's, but she's still a beauty and has the most beautiful eyes.

I hope the photos keep coming because I love me some calicoes and torties
!

These have all been posted at one time or another, but I'll never pass up a chance to show off my sweet Cindy-bun...

and one more, collecting scritches...

It truly is the same cat -- but different cameras, hence the colour variation.

Oh... I have some pics to share!

Evie, my masked bandit (or ninja, according to her daddy!), surverying her territory:

Evie checking out last year's secret Santa present:

Evie being silly:

One of my ex-fosters, Lilo:

Another ex-foster, Rukia:

Karin, yet another ex-foster (not positive she's calico or torite, but she does have some resemblance...):

Barely-there Tortie Tortuga, another ex-foster:

Oh my! I only have one tortie but 5,000 photos of her
Here are a few - trying to show all her markings. You all have probably seen these before but it has been awhile. She has pretty green eyes although they don't show well here

Do Torbies count?

Here's my girl Harlequin. She is a Brown Ticked Torbie with white aka a "patched tabby."

Two of Harlequin's littermates were also Torbies.
Here's Harlequin with her sister Rosalie (they're the two in the middle, in the photo are also two of their tabby brothers Spot and Blaze):

This is Tiger, the other torbie from the litter:

Here are photos of some of their neat torbie features, such as random orange striping/spots and multi-colored feet:

(Tiger's leg, half orange/half brown tabby)--

Beautiful girls!
I would love a tortie or calico someday even though they are full of attitude.

Beautiful pics everyone!

I haven't posted pics in ages, but here is my tabbico Gigi. This is one of the first pics I took of her when we brought her home a couple of years ago.
