I know there's lots of beautiful calico and torties here on the site so I figured I'd make a thread to show them off (plus I seeing pics of everyone's babies ).

I'll start with my lil' ladies

My longhaired tortie Kahlua

She gets her name because she makes this weird bubbly noise when she is really happy. It sounds like a coffee pot percolating.

You can better see her markings.
Kahlua left, Chablis center, Joey right (we thought Joey was a calico when he was a kitten... so we named him Chloe. He changed colors a lot and *ahem* grew...)

OMGoodness all the kitties are BEAUTIFUL ! A floodgate is FINE with me, I LOVE calico's and I love seeing how many different patterns there are out there. Bring on the kitties

Here is Patches, a stray/semi-feral kitty I am currently socializing (this picture was taken of her before we got her inside):



I don't have any good pictures of her inside yet. We're early in the socialization process so I don't want to bug her with a flashing camera.

I love calicoes and torties . I love their unique coloration and how beautiful yet different each and every single one is. I'd love to have a calico, but I'm at my kitty limit now so I'll live vicariously through you all in this thread. And, besides, I have my beautiful tortie to show off .

Here is my pretty girl, Emory:







I wish I had a pic of one of my first kitties -- Mocha. She was a tortie that we found living under our front porch with her two tuxie brothers. She now lives with my father in Pennsylvania and is still going strong at almost 21 years old. Other than arthritis and gingivitis (she had a bunch of teeth pulled last year) she is doing well and still as feisty and full of tortie-tude as ever! Her markings aren't as pronounces as Emory's, but she's still a beauty and has the most beautiful eyes.

I hope the photos keep coming because I love me some calicoes and torties !
