Hey guys I'm posting this for Frances aka Bad_Kitty2001. Ty is in the hospital and he is a very sick kitty. Doc's are stumped as to what is actually wrong with him, but they are suspecting it might be salmonella.

At any rate he is quite bad off and he could really use some of those healing TCS vibes. Frances is very upset and worried sick.

Please think some positive thoughts for Ty's recovery. Thank-you all.

I have talked to my sister about this and she is going to try everything to save him.
She came home from work early yesterday to be with him.
She is very upset about Ty.
They are talking about bringing some specialist in to try to figure out what is going on.
I know some of you saw my post on Facebook.
Thanks for all the get well wishes.

I have some very bad news Ty is not going to make it.
I can not even see what I am typing because I am crying also.
bad_kitty2001: It's not good
mews2much: what is it
bad_kitty2001: They said he's having seizures and seems to be blind
bad_kitty2001: They want to know if I want to put him down
mews2much: what will you do
bad_kitty2001: I called nial. He's calling Teri and will call me back.
bad_kitty2001: I'm gonna have to put him down. That's not fair
He wasn't siezing at 730.

Where does Frances live? If there's a VMS nearby, they are amazing, and have all sorts of specialists and top of the line facilities. They are expensive, but well worth it.

The website with their locations is here - http://www.vmsmedicine.com/

Thanks for the link.
He will not make it there though

The closest one is in Dublin.
My sister just got to the vet.
We also have UC Davis which is very good.
The VMS in San Mateo saved Coco when she was 10 and it was well worth the money.

Oh my gosh.
Poor sweet Ty!

I'm so very sorry to hear this and am still sending along as many good vibes as I can muster for that poor boy. And many hugs to Ty's owner and to Nial and Teri as well.

My heart hurts with you all.

I've talked with Frances and gotten the latest info. It is very grim news. I consulted with our Vet and based on the info at hand, he believes Ty is too far gone to save.
Frances will ask her Vets to be brutally honest about Ty's chances and then she will do what is kindest for him.

It is a very sad day for us.
